On my quest to find the place that The Simpsons heard as home, the Search for Springfield has begun.  This isn't the place.  No Shelbyville nearby, and the town was just not zany enough. 

Cute sign, but no mention of Jebediah Springfield.	The cop appears to be in shape, and the colorings are different from the animated sit-com.	There is the infrequent mention of a train, but I can't recall there being a train station in town.
No sign of the Comic Book store or Bloodbath & Beyond anywhere downtown.
