After all of the hype of these four presidents carved into the side of a mountain, I was both impressed at the amount of detail and effort that went into creating the memorial, while a tad disappointed that it wasn't bigger.  I guess seeing it on TV and in movies just creates a sense of expectation that the dynamite and chisels of the actual creation couldn't match.

Now there's a darn nice sign, if I do say so myself.	I couldn't decide which angle was best for the picture, so I took three... and posted 'em all..	... so someone got creative, and make a mock-up of the ship out of concrete in the city's park.
See?  Not as big as you'd think, when you throw some people in for a scale comparison.	Toward the end of the visit, I got tired, but did get myself into a carried mode (with handles!).
