Stowe, the town proper, well... we didn't get there. Instead, after getting distracted by the shiny sign at the combo middle school and high school, we wandered up the Trapp Family Lodge (a la the folks from The Sound of Music).

Again with the wooden, carved signs that were nicely painted.	The gold-lettered sign at the combined middle and high school.	But the crux of the trip is to head up to the Trapp Family Lodge.
When you arrive, you can valet it and aim for the carport.	The front of the lodge, as seen from the visitors parking lot.	If you're tired of all the buildings, take a stroll across the meadow.
