Prague (locally, Praha) is dubbed the "Golden City," is quite
gilded with its tops of statues, buildings and lampposts topped in hold.
While some of the outlying cities aren't nearly as tidy, Prague has now
had more than 1,000 years to polish its look in the areas that truly count.
These next two pages are of the Old Town; then we have a few of one residential
area within Praha 10 (District 10).
One of the myriad of buildings that date back not decades, but centuries,
within Old Town.
The Tower on the east side of the Charles Bridge, named after King
Charles IV.
My first glimpse of Tyn Church, which sits about 70 meters east
of the Astronomical Clock.
The face of the Astronomical Clock (at the top of the hour, a skeleton
pulls the bell ringer).
A church whose name I can't really decipher from the oh-so-crowded
city map.
And the interior look of the same (about 50 meters behind/north
of the Astronomical Clock).
