Clearly, Rome wasn't built in a day, and I wasn't able to really see
it in just a few days. But, I did get a taste of life as a (modern) Roman,
along with a hint of what things were like in days gone by. In addition
to the usual city sights, we have some visits to share of St.
Peter's Cathedral and the Colosseum.
The Roman version of the short bus, this is just more compact, but
not heading off to school.
Just one of the adorably-sized cars I have really yet to see back
home.
Crossing the River Tiber led us to the visit of the lion vs. Christian
famed Colosseum.
We have them at home, too, but the Italian version of the mobile
taco truck is much nicer-looking.
It's impressive what a little rain will do in transforming a plaza
into a whole different look.
I give up. No parking? Or parking? Or orange handicap parking? One
of the more confusing road signs.
