Mojave is the birthplace of the
Voyager, known for circling the earth without having to land and refuel;
this flight took 9 days in December, 1986. What else is here... um...
it's a good place to change directions on your trip between Barstow,
California and Baker, California as you hear
to Las Vegas, Nevada and beyond.
I'm sure at one point, this was a great sign. But what's with painting
over the Voyager thing?
How smart people get to Mojave - fly. (Why they're coming here,
though, I'm not sure.)
Among other events are the BNSF trains, that also pass through town
en route to other places.
For those that live here, the homes and yards aren't all that different
than other places, really.
Although I would guess this motel is not AAA rated or approved.
Dumb question, but does this mean we don't embrace those of other
lifestyles?
