Wilmington stands as the largest city in Delaware, at something like
75,000 people. Most of my driving around revealed lots of nifty scenery,
and an equally large amount of somewhat run-down buildings. The streets
were also not nearly as well-groomed and clean as our other Delaware city
visited (Dover, the state capital).
The First Presbyterian Church was built in 1740, and was used until
1838. (Want to know more?)
The building behind the horse isn't a government building -- it's
an office building for MBNA Bank.
This little river feeds the Delaware River downstream. I liked the
trees changing colors, and the bridge.
There was an abundance of row houses throughout Wilmington.
