Centralia - A last-minute stop and overnight, but a darn cute town, even if the motel was crowded. (Apr. '04) Kirkland - The home of Costco -- I thought. I guess I should have check that out first. (Apr. '04) Moses Lake - Nearly smack dab in the center of the Evergreen State, but their town actually has a lake to match the name. (May '11) Olympia - State capital, lots of other places around the capital, including the law offices of Larry King. (Apr. '04) Redmond - The home of Microsoft. A perfectly little tidy and symmetrical square little town, yet, no Microsoft offices. (Apr. '04) Renton - The home of over-populated housing and Jimi Hendrix' grave. I'm sure there's more here, but I didn't really look. (Apr. '04) Seattle - Home of the Space Needle, the Market Place, and redheads begging for a McDonald's shake. (Apr. '04) Tacoma - The Tacoma Dome, Union station, certainly, but no trace of the alleged "Tacoma aroma."(Apr. '04) Toppenish - In passing through, we discovered this here town is the City of Murals. (Sep. '06) Vancouver - I've been through Vancouver a handful of times, but never before stopped to look around. (Apr. '04) Woodland - One of those places you don't really plan to stop and look around, but once there, you're glad you did. (Apr. '04) Yakima - The county seat of Yakima County, and a bustling city amongst Central Washington. (Sep. '06) Zillah - A quaint little hamlet, but we managed to chat with some nice folks from the fire department - yea! (Sep. '06) |
